Good Result by Paul Sheard at Ben Nevis

Paul Sheard at Ben Nevis (pic keswicklakedistrict.co.uk)Paul Sheard finished an excellent 20th position at Ben Nevis at the weekend, finishing in a time of 1hr 46 19, just ahead of past Manx Mountain Marathon winner Paul Thompson from Clayton le Moors. The race was won by Bingleys Ian Holmes in 1hr 32 57.

    Entry for the Ben Nevis Race on the 6 September 2008 has opened and entry forms and information are available at www.bennevisrace.co.uk. Last year all 500 places were filled in about a month. Who dares to tackle Britain’s highest mountain?
