James Coulson Classic Laxey Fell Race
The next event in the Rentokil Manx Fell Running League takes place on Sunday 16th September 2007 with the James Coulson Classic Laxey Fell Race, sponsored by Buchannan & Pitts. Signing on is at Glen Roy Farm at 1.15pm for a 2pm start. Sign-on will close at 1.45pm. Entry fees are £3 for club runners and £5 for unattached. Minimum age is 18 years as of 1st January 2007. After the event there will be a prize presentation and refreshments and everyone will be made most welcome. Please note that the start and finish section at Glen Roy Farm is private land and access is only permitted on race day, unless prior permission is sought. The re-scheduled Ian Ronan Joinery-sponsored Creg-ny-Baa race and final round of this year’s league, takes place on Sunday 30th September 2007. Signing on is at 9am at the Bungalow, for a 10am start, with sign-on closing at 9.45am. The minimum age is 18 as above. The race will once again follow the reverse route. Any competitor who anticipates taking over 2 hours to complete the race will have the option of an early start at 9.30am, please contact Christine to register.
