Important Snaefell Race Info
As many will have realised the mountain Road is closed every day for the next couple of weeks from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
The Snaefell Race will however go ahead as permission has been given by the DOT. The course may vary slightly at the Black Hut depending on where the work is being done.
The only problem is that access to the Bungalow will have to be via the Tholt Y Will Road.
Last years route from checkpoint 2 at Snaefell Mines to Clagh Ouyr followed the public footpath that starts at the side of the small plantation. After consultation with DAFF it has been agreed that all competitors must again follow the public footpath but only as far as the stile. After this there is a free route choice to checkpoint 3 on Clagh Ouyr
