Good Racing at Snaefell
There was some good racing all round in the Snaefell fell race held today in cold and windy conditions. With the race access affected by the mountain road closure it was great to see 31 competitors taking on the Snaefell challenge.
The race was won by Tom Cringle, taking his first win in the Manx Fell League from second place Steve Partington running well having completed the 31 mile mountain marathon only two weeks before. Third place went to Tony Okell who is getting back to some regular racing in the Manx fells.
The ladies win was taken by Cal Partington finishing in ninth place overall with Rose Hooton second and Helen Renecle, in her Manx fell racing debut, taking third.
Thanks, as always, to the marshals and organisers without which the racing would not be able to go ahead.
