Manx Fell Runners were well represented last weekend at the Coniston Fell Race. The race route started with the arduous climb of Wetherlam (2502ft) and continued along the ridge, taking in Swirl How (2637ft) and Coniston Old Man (2634ft) before returning to the picturesque village of Coniston.

After a nice break the Rentokil Fell league springs into action again on Tuesday May 13th with the short blast to the summit of Carraghyn and back. Distance is just 2.5 miles but it includes a tough 1100ft of ascent. Start time is 7.00pm.
