Its hard to believe that someone who tried to look after his fitness and health has passed away at such a young age.
Peter competed in many of our local fell races over the years recording some solid performances. From an organisers view he was a delight to have as an entry, always having time for a quick chat before the start and always remembering to thank the officialls after the race was run.
Peter fought a long-running battle to defeat the massive health problems he faced but to no avail. To say he showed courage and determination throughout his illness would be a huge understatement.
Everyone involved in the Manx fell scene are thinking of all the Quine family at this sad time.
