Andy Cannell took a convincing victory in the North Barrule fell race this evening from 2008 Manx Fell League leader Simon Skillicorn, Tom Cringle wrapped up the top three.
Leading Vet was Ian Gale finishing fourth overall just ahead of fellow veteran Brian Osbourne. Rose Hooton took the ladies win from Lorraine Stigant.

The North Barrule fell race this year is being held over a slightly revised course, this is to avoid the mountain road crossing which is becoming too dangerous to safely get a line of fell runners across twice and also land access constraints.
