Lloyd in Charge at Ellan Vannin

Ian Gale on his way to 4th place (Murray Lambden)Lloyd Taggart showed his class when he won Sunday’s Ellan Vannin Fell Race by more than eight minutes. The Dark Peak runner, back from a recent knee injury, led from start to finish eight mins 7secs ahead of current Rentokil Manx Fell league leader Simon Skillicorn. He, in turn, had nearly nine minutes in hand over recent Parish Walk finisher, Tony Okell.

Jackie Lee dominated the ladies race, finishing 5th overall and smashing the course record by over 15 minutes. Rose Hooton was the leading local followed by Lorraine Stigant.
