A good race by Rich Sille (who knocked just under 8 minutes of his previous years time) Andy Watson and Peter Kaneen who wrapped up the top 6. Vet 50 honours went to Rob Webb who has had an excellent season on the manx fells.

  1. Many thanks to all the marshals and helpers, especially Gareth for watching over the race and to Sharron for all her help over the last couple of years.

Also thanks to Ian for placing the punches and to all the landowners for access.

  2. Yeah, big thank you to Sharron, Gareth and all the marshals & photographers - Stan Hall must have covered more ground then the runners, he seemed to be popping up all over the place!

Well done Simon - champ again!

  3. I really enjoyed yesterdays run, a great way to spend a Sunday morning. Thanks to everyone involved - in particular to the chorus of Marshalls on the Brandywell road, who were kind enough to try raise my awareness on my navigational error ( I did hear you eventually!)

  4. Thanks to everyone involved. What a fantastic morning, a really enjoyable course. Well done to all who ran.

  5. Not content with the prospect of a measly ten mile race, Steve Kennaugh minimised his carbon footprint and cycled to the Bungalow! From Castletown - on a heavy bike carrying a thermos flask.
Top marks for bringing a bit of gratuitous hardship back to the local fell-running scene.

  6. I had sandwiches in my bag too! I think my bike may have been faster than yours!
