Manx Fell Runners

Round two of the Isle of Man Bank sponsored Winter Hill League takes place on Saturday 15th November over a course that is slightly different from previous years with the start and finish now at Fenella Beach.

Distance remains just under 3 miles and the course will be fully marked. All runners should note that the race will start at 1.00pm with registration between 12.00pm and 12.45pm.

The Peel race is probably the most runnable in the Winter Hill League as it is on public footpaths for most of the course. It is ideal for any runner who fancies a dabble on the hills for the first time.

Junior Fell Championships

Following the senior race it is hoped there will be a good entry of youngsters for the Isle of Man Bank Junior Fell Running Championships.

All age groups will start and finish near Fenella Beach and will be over out and back courses. Spectators will be able to view large sections of the various courses from the start/finish area.

Registration will be from  12.45pm until 1.30pm. There will be no entry fee for the juniors.

Start times are :-
Under 18’s school years 11/12/13 - 1.00pm
Under 11’s school years 4/5/6 - 1.45pm
Under 13’s school years  7/8 - 2.00pm
Under 15’s school years 9/10 - 2.15pm

(Minimum age is 8 on day of competition)

Important notice for any juniors in the under/18s category school years 11/12/13  This race will be over the full course starting at 1.00pm
