Great Days Racing at the 2008 Millennium Way Relay
Cold but good conditions for today’s Millennium Way relay which saw some great racing throughout the field of 22 teams and 9 cyclists that completed the event. Winning cyclist was Manx Fell Runner Dave Griffin in 2hr 46min 10sec from Robbie Collister in 2hr 55min 29sec with another Manx Fell Runner Steven Kennaugh 3rd in 3hrs 1min 59sec.
The first running team home was Return of the Hoof (Richard Stubbs, Gerald Bradley, Ben Oates and Campbell Guy) who finished just over a minute ahead of Manx Fell Runner Team, Drippings Evil Pop Tarts (Tom Cringle, Mike Quine, Rachael Franklin, who must have had one of the runs of the day and Richard Sille) third place went to A Bunch of Runners (Kevin Loundes, who did a fantastic 52 minutes on leg 1, John Crellin, Rachael Tewkesbury and Martin Malone.)
