Top Turnout at Snaefell
There was an excellent turnout of 50 runners who took on Snaefell today in cloudy and chilly conditions, a contrast to the fine weather in the rest of the island!
Simon Skillicorn took a good win from Ben Scott, who ran and excellent race with Tom Cringle in third. Fourth place went to Andy Watson and fifth to Ian Gale who also took the Vet 40 prize.
There looked to be an excellent battle in the ladies race between Cal Partington, returning to the fells after a long break, and new to the fells Sarah Curphey, Cal just took the win from Sarah but only 19 seconds separated them at the finish.
It was again good to see some new faces on the fells, one to watch is Manx Tri club member and top cyclist Tristan Gell who had an excellent race for his fell debut finishing 6th.

Many thanks to Bernie for timekeeping and to Lesley, Sue,Bill, and Ozzie for marshalling. A very cold job today.
Also thanks to all the landowners for access, Sean Craig for his sponsorship and Ian for placing the punches.
Finally thanks to Rich and Tom for getting the results on line so quickly.
