Commonwealth Fell and Ultra Running Championships

The inaugural Commonwealth Fell and Ultra Distance Running Championships are to be held in Cumbria later this year and the Isle of Man has been invited to send teams.

We would ask any runners who would like to be considered for these championships to contact David Quine 450039 ,  davidaquine@hotmail.com  so that we can gauge the interest.

We anticipate holding a meeting in the next couple of weeks to decide on the standard of runner required to enter what is expected to be a high quality event.

    Hi Dave,
    Lewis is very interested in joining in with this event. He will turn 40 that week and is keen to take part in some kind of run to celebrate.
    I would love to organise for him to take part in the uphill on Fri and the up and down on Sunday. Would think about us all coming over and perhaps fraser doing the under 15 run too.
    What a way to spend your 40th!!
