The wait is almost over… Glen Mona is next

The Glen Mona Horseshoe Fell Race takes place on Sunday 5th July starting near the Glen Mona Hotel at 2.00pm. Distance is 7 miles with 2150ft of ascent. Please park at the Dhoon School not at the Glen Mona Hotel.

There will be an early start at 1.30pm for those expecting to finish in 1hr 40 mins or longer. Minimum age is 18 years on day of race. Full safety equipment is mandatory for all competitors.

The race still requires 3 marshals or it will net be held. There are still a number of runners who have not put there names down for a compulsory marshals stint so this is their  opportunity to volunteer and ensure qualification for the league. Any runner who completes the required 6 races but does not do the marshalling stint will be excluded from the league. If the slots for marshalling at the remaining races fills up we will double-up to ensure qualification.
