Next up is Ellan Vannin
The Ellan Vannin Fell Race is the penultimate round in this years Rentokil Fell League and will take place on Sunday 6th September. The 12 miles course is held on the western hills of the island and is the final long category race in the 2009league.
Start time is 10.00am from Ballaugh Plantation. There will be an early start at 9.30am for those expecting to take more than 3.00hrs.
Full safety gear is mandatory for all competitors. Minimum age 18 years on race day.

Please be advised that at no times should you find yourself in private farmland if so you have strayed off route and are out of bounds. A particular area in question is the route from the sheepfold, CP6, to the Druidale Water Splash, CP 7, here you must remain on the fell and cannot cross any fences on to private land, doing so will result in disqualification.
