Winner Simon Skillicorn with the James Coulson Trophy (Photo Steve Partington)This now concludes the 2009 Rentokill Fell Season, the MFR committee would like to thank all the Marshals and Organisers who gave up there time to ensure that every race was successful, without this yearly commitment the races would simply not be able to go ahead.

Racing kicks off again in two weeks with the 1st Round of the Isle of Man Bank Winter Hill League held again at Glen Roy Farm on the 10th October starting at 13.30pm.  Take a look at the Winter Hill section of the MFR website for details on the series and races.

  1. Hot and sweaty. Blisters. Big thanks to all involved. I had a brilliant day ( so did my dad) !

  2. Yeah! I’ve got blisters too! Never had them before - weird. But no knee or calf problems - so a good result in my book. Thanks to all the marshalls, organizers and hosts!

  3. And another thing….

A big thanks to Murray and Stan for posting their pictures for all to see. This really goes out to all photographers at all the athletics events - not just the fell runs. It is much appreciated.

  4. I agree Lewis. I especially love Murray’s site http://www.manxathletics.com/
It’s nice reliving the race in the comfort of your own house.

  5. Can someone confirm that the first Winter Hill race is on the 10th and not the 17th as it says on the Race Fixture List.

    Cheers.

  6. The first Winter Hill race is on the 10th Oct and not the 17th as advertised. The fixture was moved to avoid a clash with another event.
