Manx Fell Runners

The 2009 Rentokil sponsored fell league is now complete.  26 people completed the league this year and it is nice to see a few new faces in there.  The honours were taken by Simon Skillicorn, who once again showed his dominance of the Manx Fells winning 7 of the 11 races, Tom Cringle took the runners up spot with Ian Gale third and winning the Vet 40 prize.  Top Vet 50 was Rob Webb who ran another strong season and the Vet 60 prize went to Dave Young who once again showed some of his younger competition the way round!

Three ladies completed the league with Sarah Curphey taking the win on her debut season from Rose Hooton and Justine Bowen.

MFR would like to thank all the competitors and organisers who helped the season come together, next years fixtures will be taking a slight change in an effort to encourage more people to race the fells and hopefully try and complete the league.  Any feedback anyone has on the structure of manx fell racing would be welcomed, just comment on the post or email mail@manxfellrunners.org
