Start 2010 with a Bang

Jake Nathan on his way up the climb in 2008Why not start 2010 on a nice healthy note by taking part in the St Johns Fell Race sponsored by Supercards.  The race marks the beginning of the Rentokil 2010 Manx Fell League and is one of the most popular races on the fell calender with all levels of ability competing.

The short out and back course is a great start to fell racing taking is a technical section through the plantation before heading to the top of Slieu Whallion Hill and then following the same route back down. Racing starts at 2.00pm from St Johns Football club with signing on from 1.00pm, entry fees are £3 for club runners, £5 for unattached and £1 for juniors, with minimum age being 12 on the day.

Due to road works outside the soccer ground the early part of the course may have to be changed. An announcement will be made nearer race day.

Competitors are advised that it may be easier to use the car park opposite the Farmers Arms.
