There will be a pre-race get-together for everyone involved with the 2010 Manx Mountain Marathon on Tuesday 30th March at St Georges AFC clubhouse Glencrutchery Road from 7.30pm onwards. All marshal’s, officials and helpers are welcome.

The windy and cold conditions did not deter the excellent turnout of 46 runners who took on the challenge of the Snaefell fell race yesterday, contending with a strong headwind in places and mist and snow.

Round 4 of this years Rentokil Fell League takes place on Saturday March 13th. The Snaefell Race is one of the toughest in the Manx calendar climbing a tortuous 1,900ft in just 5 miles. Start and finish is at the Bungalow on the TT Course with the start time 2.00pm. Registration will be from 1.00pm.

[ March 13, 2010; 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. ] The category A short race covers five miles, with 1,900ft of ascent.
Signing on will be at the Bungalow from 1pm for a 2pm start. Please note registration will close at 1.45pm.
Entry fees are £3 for club runners and £5 for unattached, with a minimum age of 16 years as of 1st January 2010.
