Late Season Away Day
Posted on June 23rd, 2010 by TomC
We’re looking to arrange a trip to the Three Shires Race on Saturday 18th September. The race is a Lakeland Classic, over 12miles & 4000ft of ascent, covering the peaks of Wetherlam, Swirl How, Blisco & Lingmoor. There’s some good info on Chris Upson’s blog here which is well worth a read.
It’s an 11am start so we’d be looking to go Friday (am) and back on Sunday, with a good knees up on the Saturday night. Overnight options are a bunkhouse or camping. Travel & accommodation costs, if booked early, are likely to be in the region of £100… plus beer tokens of course! Numbers will be limited so let me know ASAP if you’re interested by email to awaydays@manxfellrunners.org
First come, first served!
