The 2011 Isle of Man Bank sponsored Winter Hill League gets underway on Saturday 8th October at the Cringle Plantation.
This will be followed by two more rounds at Glen Helen on Saturday 5th November and Slieauwhallian on Saturday 17th December. All rounds count towards a final league placing, accumulated time deciding the final positions.

Congratulations to Rob Sellors who following on from his excellent win in the Manx Marathon last month posted a victory in the High Peak 40 held just outside Buxton on Sunday. This was Robs 5th time at the event and he will be the first Manx man to win it in its 25 year history.

Manx Fell Runners will be holding training sessions for all local club members throughout the Winter months under the guidance of Margaret Lockley and Colin Moore. There will be sessions every Friday at Castletown meeting at the Swimming Pool at 5.30pm. Margaret will be glad to welcome runners of any standard including newcomers.
