There was another record turnout of 82 for the Greeba fell race held yesterday in excellent conditions. Lloyd Taggart and Jackie Lee continued there winning ways taking victory in the mens and ladies race.

The second round of the 2012 Rentokil Manx Fell League takes place on Saturday 28th January. The Ken Watterson sponsored Greeba Fell Race is held over a tough 14km course that has a total ascent of over 750 metres.

The second round of the 2011 Rentokil Manx Fell League will take place on Saturday 29th January when the classic Greeba Fell Race takes place.
Full safety equipment will be mandatory for all competitors. There will be spot-checks at the start and finish and minimum age is 18years on race day.

After the very bad predicted forecasts conditions turned out to be excellent for the Greeba race with even a bit of sunshine! The melting snow however had made the going very wet and muddy and tough underfoot but there was still an excellent field of runners taking on the challenge.
