Many thanks to all the marshals and officials for a splendid job in most uncomfortable conditions. Also thanks to Ian for placing the punches and the landowners and DAFF for access.
A personal thank you to Nigel for managing to take a pic of me that managed to hide the fat!

If anyone is planning on watching tomorrows race from the Black Hut please note that there is little room to park in the car park due to snow (as of Friday afternoon).
There is room on the grass verge that runs along the side of the mountain road. If using this please park well clear of the corner on the Douglas side.

Just a reminder that there is a compulsory route from checkpoint 2 at Snaefell Mines. All competitors must use the stile that is on the public footpath to the east of the small plantation. Once over the stile route choice is open to Clagh Ouyr.

Agree with Peter, fantastic day to be on the hills. Also thanks to everyone who helped on the day and to Ian for placing the punches.
I stand to be corrected but I would think the entry was the best we have had for this race.
Course records for Lloyd and Jackie along with plenty of great performances.
A superb day out!

Much better route in the Winter, it's a lot cooler and no ferns! I loved running through the snow along the Clagh Ouyr ridge. Thanks to all the marshalls, timekeepers, course markers and the weather.
