(This is the original route, in recent years it has been raced in reverse. The checkpoints are the same though, just the first is Mullagh Ouyr)
Start and finish at the Bungalow GR. 396867
Ascend to checkpoint (1) Snaefell summit GR. 398881.
Descend in south westerly direction to Millennium Way bridge checkpoint (2) GR. 384874.
Follow the Millennium Way path, crossing the Brandywell Road, to reach the track leading to checkpoint (3) at the Cairn of Carraghan GR. 368848.
Checkpoint 4 is Beinn-y-Phott GR. 381861.
Descend to the stream gully junction above Dhoon Farm GR. 381849, checkpoint (5).
Then ascend crossing road at Windy Corner to Cronk Gerjoil Y Chiarn GR. 393841, checkpoint (6).
Descend to Windy Corner and follow small path to Mullagh Ouyr GR. 398862, checkpoint (7).
Descend to finish at gate on Mullagh Ouyr side of Bungalow tram crossing.
