Insurance Details for MMM
All non Isle of Man MMM competitors should be aware that as a result of the changes in the reciprocal health agreement between the Isle of Man and the UK it is advisable that they ensure that they have adequate medical insurance to cover any potential medical care that they may receive while on the island and competing in the MMM.
We advise that everyone check there personal policies to make sure that they would be covered for any treatment required from injuries sustained from competing in a fell running competition.
MFR have made enquiries about runners from the UK and beyond taking out medical insurance while they are over here competing in the MMM.
Local independent Brokers, C Tarleton Hodgson and Son Ltd can arrange a deal with Fortis Insurance for the duration of their stay and takes into account the more hazardous activity of fell running.
