MMM 2010 News Update
Posted on March 10th, 2010 by admin
All competitors are asked to take care in the Injebreck section. The bridge at the bottom of the descent from Carraghan is in a very poor condition. It is advised that everyone go to the left of the bridge where it is easy to cross the stream.
Competitors should also take extra care at the stream crossing after the counter checkpoint at Injebreck Farm. The rocks at this crossing are extremely slippery.

Please can someone assist. I have been getting to know the route of the MMM. From injebreck to Colden summit. It seems there is no path to follow at all.
Please can some one give us a tip. I started by over the river and up left by the plantation wall and then there seems to be no choice but through the heather to the top. Is there a better way?
Jonathan,
I am sure there are people better qualified than me to give detailed advice ( I have ran the section about 5 times) - I find that running (well walking) next to the plantation wall in the first section works for me, then bear off half right when the wall takes a sharp dog-leg to the left. Sheep tracks then get you to the gulley which is a nice track until you are level with the summit and a short bound through the heather gets you to the top - have a look at Google maps satellite images it is very detailed - hope this helps, but not so much that you beat me!!!
John
I have a twin room booked for the Fri and Sat nights at the Falcon’s Nest Hotel. If anyone is looking for accommodation at this late stage, please email me at ‘nj(dot)ham(at)ntlworld(dot)com’. I’m injured and won’t be able to race.
Could you pls let the organiser know that I will not be able to come to Isle of Man to participate the this race?
Many thanks.
