All competitors are asked to take care in the Injebreck section. The bridge at the bottom of the descent from Carraghan is in a very poor condition. It is advised that everyone go to the left of the bridge where it is easy to cross the stream.

The organising committee for next years Manx Mountain Marathon have received some great news in the past week.
Firstly Okells Brewery have agreed to continue their sponsorship of the event which, incredibly, goes back over 20 years.

An apology needs to be made to anyone entered in the Half MMM who is expecting a free T Shirt. Unfortunatly it is only the full MMM entry fee that includes a T-Shirt the half entry fee does not, the T-Shirt size box on the half MMM entry form is unfortunatly an error.

Please be advised that this part of the route is private land and not a public right of way, this means that the land cannot be accessed prior to the Mountain Marathon, we have gained access for the day.

Unfortunately due to land access restraints the route of the 2009 Manx Mountain Marathon has had to be changed for the first leg from the start in Parliament Square Ramsey to Checkpoint 1, North Barrule Summit.
